Stasis [< Gr. Στá•σις >]

  1. A condition of balance among various forces; motionless.

    Stand still, aligned between Heaven and Earth, connecting the Universe, remaining unmoving in the spirit. Inhale the vital essense of life, draw power from everything around you, and create movement drawing energy from the earth.

  2. attitude; behavior.

    Be aware of your talents, your deep-rooted values, your inner-self and act accordingly. Accept yourself and the others, feel the personal power you receive from being true to yourself. Grow, blossom, unfold and perform, recognizing your self-worth. "Cultivate productive attitudes... You are the product of everything you put into your body and mind." I CHING no 27

  3. posture; positioning.

    The unconscious and stable structural disposition of the body framework attained over a long period of continuous body movements and patterns. Postures are attained over time as a result of lifestyle and orientation. Their quality or effectiveness is related to the proportionate structure of the body framework and the optimal balance of the body.

Change Stasis is a call to take action, move or stay still as needed, discover your needs and be open to changing. Create a loving relationship with your body, and practice dancing through life, energize and move your vital energy, find your physical and mental alignment following your body's wisdom. I propose some tools, which have worked for me and others. I invite you to experience these practices, and become responsible for the well-being of your body.
