My name is Evi Patsia, and I am originally from Greece. I have been living in the UK since 1996, when I first came over to study a masters degree in Computer Science. Movement and sports have always been a significant part of my life. I started playing tennis at the age of ten, moved on to gymnastics, attempted running to find myself playing volleyball for teams in the national league in Greece.

As a teenager I developed scoliosis, which taught me a lot about my body. I visited the Katharina Schroth clinic in Germany to learn how scoliosis-specific physiotherapy could help me treat my back. Many years later I took up pilates and yoga to help my body stay flexible and pain-free. The unfortunate advice of orthopeadics led me to a career in Maths and Computing, which I then quited so that I could immerse myself in pilates and manual therapy and learn how I could help both myself and others with scoliosis. The journey has been an incredible one. I discovered Nia, which gave me the freedom and ability to let go of the conceived limitations of my body, accept my scoliosis, and become an inspiration for others. I have been grateful to be educated by some of the most well-known somatic educators in the UK and abroad, such as Mark Gray, Justin Haroun, Liz Bassey, Robert Schleip, Thomas Myers, and Debbie Rosas.

My approach to health and well-being is rooted in bodywork. My passion for fitness and therapy pushes me to constantly better my practice, and stay ahead of the curve. I have studied countless CPD qualifications, workshops and seminars.

I am a graduate of the University of Westminster, where I studied a BSc in Remedial Massage and Neuromuscular Techniques. While studying for my degree, I also trained in Pilates Matwork, Nia, and Medical Qigong. I was most recently trained in the Garuda system of fitness. I blend fitness and therapy to assist people achieve their well-being aims. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals that are suffering from scoliosis and other spinal conditions.

I regularly teach Pilates, and Nia and offer different forms of Manual Therapy. Check out where I practice, or contact me for further information.
